Guidance from the Church of England around church buildings opening

During this current period of St Mary’s church will continue to be open on Sunday mornings 8-00am Holy Communion and 10-30am Eucharist and Wednesday Morning 10-00am CW Eucharist. People can come and sit alone or with members of their household, but more than one group can be in church at any time, as long as some social distancing occurs. Please continue to sit with consideration for those members of the congregation who are still feeling uneasy and we ask you to continue to wear masks at this time. Please leave a red cross in your place as you leave to allow for cleaning and to stop others sitting there. Use of the hand gel on entering and leaving is also requested to ease others concerns.

All recommendations by the diocese in relation to the handling and management of the spread of infection have been applied.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update this website. Please check this site for further information.
